When you have finished with this workshop, remember to clean up all those AWS resources that you created using AWS CloudFormation.
Follow the steps below for clean up:
Labs - Athena Basics
Use the AWS CloudFormation console or AWS CLI to delete the stack named Athena-Workshop.
Labs - Federated Queries, User Defined Functions, Custom Connector & Machine Learning
You would need to manually go and empty the S3Bucket created by the CloudFormation as S3 bucket can only be deleted by CloudFormation once it's empty.
You would need to go to Cloud Formation and delete all the connectors so they are no longer attached to the Elastic Network Interface (ENI) of the VPC. Other option is to go to each connector and deselect the VPC so it's no longer attached to the VPC created by CloudFormation.
You would need to go to Sagemaker endpoints ans delete any endpoints you created as part of the labs.
You would need to go to Athena and delete the AmazonAthenaPreviewFunctionality workgroup.
Use the AWS CloudFormation console or AWS CLI to delete the stack named Athena-Federation-Workshop.
