Login as an IAM user that has permissions to setup QuickSight.
From the AWS services console, navigate to QuickSight (https://quicksight.aws.amazon.com/sn/start).
If AWS Account is not signed up for QuickSight, you will be prompted to sign up.
Select Enterprise edition and click Continue.
On next screen, ensure region is set to US East (N. Virginia).

Enter email address for Notification. Keep all other defaults.
Check Amazon S3. That should pop up a window to select S3 buckets.
Select All in S3 Buckets Linked to QuickSight Account.
Verify your selections with below screen print. It is important that in prior step you select

To finish data set creation, choose the option
“Directly query your data”
and click Visualize.
You should see QuickSight editor to create dashboards.
Create QuickSight Charts
In this section we will take you through some of the different chart types.
From Fields List, drag product_category on AutoGraph. QuickSight auto selects Horizontal bar chart. You should see count of records by Product Category.
Go ahead and experiment with other Visual Types and filters in QuickSight.
